Kawoni-Cherokee Time of the Flower Moon Program

Visit the New Echota Historic Site in Calhoun, Georgia for Kawoni: Cherokee Time of the Flower Moon Program on April 16, 2011 from 8 AM to 10 PM. This program starts off at 8 AM with a 2 mile bird walk around Tarvin Branch Pond and Newtown Creek then continues at 10:30 AM with a plant and wildflower walk. Register in advance for a nature photography workshop that will will take place at 1:30 PM. Make a whole day of it and stay late for the 8 PM star party with telescopes. This will be a wonderful day of enjoying nature and the world around you.
