April Wehunt in Concert

Coca Cola’s Summer Music Series presents April Wehunt in concert on June 23, 2012 from 2 PM to 4 PM. She will be providing entertainment at the Calhoun Premium Outlets in Calhoun, Georgia. You will find her in the courtyard between Carters and Tommy Hilfiger.

April Wehunt has been performing since 2008, joining the Georgia Country Gospel and Music Association where she won Most Promising Entertainer and Vocalist of the Year in Traditional Country at the 2008 Georgia Country and Gospel Music Awards. In 2009, she began working with Sweet Southern Entertainment playing traditional country music at venues like Hard Rock Cafe and Wildhorse Saloon. In 2010 she became a worship leader with the youth group she grew up in and realized Gospel and Inspirational Country music is what she is supposed to do. She has gone on to win other awards and continues to inspire others with her positive lyrics.

Laura Cortese’s Acoustic Project

Laura Cortese’s Acoustic Project will perform at the Harris Arts Center in Calhoun, Georgia on January 15, 2012 at 3 PM. This talented group of female musicians consists of  2 fiddlers and a cellist. They will be holding a Fiddler/Cello workshop that emphasizes on learning tunes by ear at a moderate to fast pace after the concert from 5:30 PM to 7 PM. There will be some local favorites, Cameron Federal and Russell Cook of Little Country Giants, performing as well.

Tickets are $10 for the concert and $35 for the workshop. Those who are interested in the workshop can register at the concert or call the Harris Arts Center at 706-629-2599 to pre-register.

Indie Night – March

The Harris Arts Center in Calhoun, Georgia will have another Indie Night on March 11, 2011 at 7 PM. The performers of the evening will be Jackson Lawrence and the Dirt Road Redemption introducing Madison Hunt along with special guest Tim Cadiere.

The Three Divas

The Harris Arts Center in Calhoun, Georgia presents celebrity impersonator Joanna Maddox in the musical event The Three Divas. You won’t want to miss her as she recreates the persona and musical talents of Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, and Tina Turner. This show takes place on February 20, 2011 at 4 PM.

Tanna Key in Concert

Tanna Key will be performing on Indie Nite at the Harris Arts Center on January 21, 2011. She is a young, up and coming country artist who has been performing since she was 12 years old. She loves being on stage and finds that music never lets her down. She has been playing piano most of her life, plays guitar and writes music.
